Moon Shadows

moon shadows

Long past midnight, I saw the Moon caressing the snow

A late night love affair, hidden from prying eyes

I watched them, a voyeur on a sleepless night

Moon Shadows danced across her pure white skin

In blushing approval, she sparkled her love in return

Guiltily, I slipped away. This wasn’t mine to see

But, I know the moon loves the snow, I saw them together.
