A Goat Most Grand

Helllooo there, I’m Robby Robogoat. Yup! That’s me.

I’m more than you see, you must understand, I’m more than a goat on a flower covered hill, eating and eating and eating some more.

I’m a champion – a champion most grand. I won a great prize for my supreme goatliness… goatliness IS a word!

Sit down and I’ll tell you my story.

We are at the local fair… we, is me and my best friend Scarlett, who’s cute as can be in her 4H finery. I looked pretty handsome too, if I don’t say so myself.

It was our turn to show the judges our stuff. They were quite taken with Scarlett, and my goatly charms were undeniable.

Many a goat primped and paraded trying to catch the judges eye, until the moment came… the biggest moment of all – it was time for a goat to be named, “Best of All”.

We goats lined up with our best friends nearby and nervously waited… and waited…OH MY!

The judge walked back and forth and forth and back, when suddenly she stopped and smiled – showing every white tooth in her mouth and said, “It’s YOU Robby Robogoat, it could ONLY be you!”

She handed Scarlett the biggest, bluest ribbon you could ever imagine and right on the front it said, “#1”!

We were grand champions, Scarlett and me!

Yes, this goat is more than you can see… A Grand Champion, that is ME!

So, you must excuse me if my grin looks a bit smug, but grand champion goats on flower covered hills can’t help but feel happy and a tiny bit smug!

I love this little goat. I’ve recently fallen in love with little goats because we have two at the Agoura shelter. They are with the horses because goats keep horses calm. I love your stories. Keep them coming.
