Wildflowers In Waiting

One of the many beauties that grow wild & free in my meadow.

Under the snow, deep in the dirt

the wildflower waits for its grand entrance

Spring is near, cue the wildflowers

It’s almost show time.

*Dedicated to my dear friend Stephanie, who inspired this short verse.

  1. They’ll have to push up a lot of snow back east, but it’ll be most welcome there.

Comments welcome, unless they'll make me cry.
