Do We Have NO Soul?

stock-footage-silhouette-of-woman-meditating-during-sunsetI’ve been following the hostage situation in Sydney very closely. I love Sydney and her people. I’ve been there a few times, at this exact location even.

People at the scene are starting to take selfies. How morally bankrupt, how dead must your soul be that you would take smiling selfies at a situation where your fellow-man, their families and their friends are terrified for their loved ones lives?

When did your soul die? Was it a long time coming, but at this moment it leapt off the cliff of humanity? No part of your conscience said, “No, don’t do this! This is real life and these are real lives!”

I pray for a peaceful resolution to this situation and I pray for the seemingly lost souls who forgot how to feel.
